Privacy Policy

1. Overview

DRIFT AWAY ("the game", "we", "us") is a free-to-play mobile game. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to the minimum needed to run, improve, and support the game. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or precise location. Your game progress is stored locally on your device.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personally identifying information directly. The game and the third-party tools below may automatically collect limited, mostly anonymous technical data:

• Device & technical info — device model, operating-system version, language, and region.
• Usage & gameplay analytics — in-game events (e.g. runs played, progression, purchases made) used to understand and improve the game.
• Diagnostics / crash data — crash logs and performance data to fix bugs.
• Advertising identifiers — if you see ads, the ad provider may access an advertising identifier to serve and cap ads. Ads are served on a contextual (non-personalized) basis unless you grant tracking permission.

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location.

3. Third-party services

We use the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple / App Store (in-app purchases, app delivery) — policy
• GameAnalytics (gameplay analytics) — policy
• Google Firebase (crash reporting / remote configuration) — policy
• Unity LevelPlay / ironSource (advertising, if enabled) — policy

4. How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the game and its balance.
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
• To display and frequency-cap advertisements.
• To process in-app purchases (handled by Apple).
• To understand aggregate, anonymous player behavior.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Advertising

The game may show advertisements. By default, ads are contextual and non-personalized — they are not based on tracking you across other apps or websites. If we ever offer personalized ads, iOS will show you Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt first, and you can decline.

6. Data storage & retention

Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud). Anonymous analytics and diagnostic data are retained by the third-party providers above according to their own retention policies. Uninstalling the game removes locally stored data from your device.

7. Children's privacy

DRIFT AWAY is rated 9+ and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age of consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

• EEA/UK (GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete, and opt out of "sale/share" (we do not sell personal info).

Because we don't hold account-linked personal data, most information is anonymous or device-level. To exercise a request or ask a question, email us at the contact address above.

9. Data security

We rely on the platform (Apple) and the reputable third-party providers listed above to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
